LDC Enviro Corp.: COATED COPPER TUBING
EnviroTube™ is standard Type L copper tubing coated with a flexible, polyvinyl chloride (PVC) polymer designed to prevent deterioration of the tubing from acids and alkalis found in soil and concrete, says the company. The tube is used for fuel oil transfer lines, as well as gas and propane. The coating compound has been improved by the addition of a UV inhibitor and anti-fungicide, the company says. The tube is patented, UL listed, and is approved by the EPA and other regulatory agencies.
