Siemens Building Technologies (Zurich, Switzerland) has licensed technologies from Intrinsyc (Vancouver, BC, Canada) to develop open-standard controllers for hvacr equipment and building automation systems. Siemens is currently using Intrinsyc’s embedded Internet technology and Windows CE to bring open-standard communications and remote connectivity to its new Saphir line of intelligent, multi-functional, and programmable hvacr controllers.
