These tray-type deaerators preheat boiler feed water and remove 100% of all CO₂ from the water while reducing oxygen to 0.005 cc/l (7 ppb), says the company. By using Roth pumps, the overall height of the unit is lowered, reducing requirements for ceiling height and floor space and lowering construction and maintenance costs, the company says. The units remove noncondensable gases, allowing heat to transfer more efficiently within the boiler while reducing boiler and piping corrosion, the manufacturer says.
