The newly improved TG-1900KA formaldehyde (HCHO) gas monitor is a direct-reading, compact instrument with digital display that uses a patented gas membrane galvanic sensor, the company says. The toxic gas sensor is unaffected by normal interfering gases and can detect as little as 0.01 ppm, says the company. Adjustable audible and visual alarms can be set down to 0.1 ppm. The unit will operate for 30 hrs between charges or continuously on ac power. The monitor is self-contained and includes a battery charger and ac power supply.
