SGI(Mountain View, CA), a provider of high-performance computing and graphics solutions, andFluent Inc.(Lebanon, NH), a provider of computational fluid dynamics (CFD) software and services, have announced a combined initiative for the technical evaluation of the IA-64-Linux platform. The companies say this initiative will allow users of the Linux operating system to take full advantage of the future Intel IA-64 computing architecture

Fluent also announces that its quality management system has recently undergone an external audit by British Standards Institution, Inc. (BSI), and has been officially registered to ISO 9001 and TickIT international standards.

According to an announcement from Constructw@re (Alpharetta, GA), more than 100 construction industry executives attending a “shootout” or direct comparison of web-enabled project management/collaboration software products have ranked Constructw@re as the top product in use today. The vendor shootout was conducted by the Houston and Dallas, TX chapters of the Associated General Contractors of America (AGC).
