This factory-installed outdoor air measurement and control system is designed for the company’s applied rooftop systems and rooftop air handlers. The DesignFlow™ system provides direct, accurate outdoor air measurement for rooftop vav systems to support consistent compliance with the minimum outdoor air requirements of ASHRAE Standard 62.1-1999, says the manufacturer. The patent-pending system responds directly to the total mass volume of air flowing through the outdoor air intake, measuring it with an accuracy greater than 95%, the company says.
