The company’s new SC67 clamp meter is said to expand on the success of its SC66 model. Modifications in the SC67 include an increased temperature range for sensing temperatures up to 1,000¿F and a dc voltage range that goes up to 200 vdc, says the manufacturer. Like the SC66, the SC67 contains a non-contact voltage (NCV) function to warn the user when the NCV tab is close to live ac voltages, the company says. A high-voltage (contact) indicator lights up a red LED and beeps whenever the technician touches dangerous voltage, says the company, while a green LED lights up when continuity is detected.
