SALT LAKE CITY, UT — Tom Ramsrud has been appointed as president of Comfort Systems USA-Intermountain. Ramsrud was previously president at Hillcrest Sheetmetal in Bakersfield, CA, a Comfort Systems USA Company. He has also held several other positions including office manager, general manager, branch manager, and vice president. The Intermountain division of the company is the name of the Comfort Systems USA location that formed from a merger of Freeway Heating and Cooling on Bountiful, UT, and CSI in Salt Lake City.

This is only one change within Comfort Systems USA. Recently, the company announced organization al changes that it hopes will help to capitalize on energy efficiency and energy management trends in the mechanical contracting market.

Marty Applebaum and Chuck Sherman, the senior leadership responsible for two strategic integrated, facility automation services and integrated energy services, now report directly to chairman and chief executive officer William F. Murdy.
