This new, gas-fired steam humidification system is energy efficient and easy to clean, the company says. The Series GFH HumidiClean™ with ionic bed technology uses propane or natural gas to generate humidifying steam from tap water or refined water, including demineralized, deionized (DI), or reverse-osmosis (RO) type. The units have an 82% efficiency rating and an operating cost about one-fourth that of units using electricity for an energy source, says the company. Featuring a low-NOX infrared burner, the product is both AGA and CGA certified (through CSA).
