A control damper-airflow monitoring station is now offered on AirPak and CurbPak air-handling units (AHUs). The damper’s design integrates a low-leakage control damper with air monitoring blades and an air straightener, all in one assembly, the company says. It is built by Ruskin, a damper manufacturer. The AMS-60 damper carries the AMCA 611 certification for airflow-measuring stations, ensuring its accuracy, leakage, and pressure drop ratings, says the company. The product is said to be more efficient than competitive units that rely on butterfly-style dampers.
