York International Corp., Engineered Systems Group: PACKAGED ROOFTOP SYSTEMS
The technology of the company’s Eco2 chillers has been applied to a new line of packaged rooftop heating and cooling systems. The units offer advantages in both ecology and economy, says the company. They respond to environmental concerns by using HFC-407C refrigerant, which has zero ozone depletion potential and low global-warming potential. The units are also economical because they are optimized for the refrigerant, the company says. The OptiLogic control panel provides “smart ventilation” by introducing fresh air only as needed.
