How DOE's $8.8B Rebate Programs Help HVAC

The Department of Energy has revised two rebate programs that could help HVAC contractors and their customers install more energy-efficient equipment. The Home Owner Managing Energy Savings Rebates program, or HOMES, offers rebates for eligible air sealing and HVAC equipment upgrade projects for all income levels. Meanwhile, the High-Efficiency Electric Home Rebate program, HEEHR, provides rebates for purchasing and installing electric HVAC equipment and energy-efficient appliances to reduce energy bills.
