Super Radiator Coils Refreshes Virginia R&D Laboratory

LAB REFRESH: Super Radiator Coils recently upgraded its Thermal Innovation Center in Richmond, Virginia, a research and development laboratory.
RICHMOND, Va. — Super Radiator Coils (SRC) recently upgraded the appearance of the tube-side and airside heat transfer research and development facility at its Virginia division.
The update is intended to better showcase the scope and impact of the work done every day by the SRC R&D teams and have the facility in Richmond, Virginia, serve as a showpiece for customers and vendors who visit, an SRC press release said. The Thermal Innovation Center is one of the most critical drivers of the company’s ability to live up to its mission of unleashing the power of thermodynamics to improve the world, the press release said.
“Not only is it the engine that drives our coil ratings, it’s a symbol of our commitment to excellence and our ceaseless pursuit of improvement, further building on our goal of being true leaders in our industry, now and into the future,” said Dr. Jian Yu, vice president of research and development at Super Radiator Coils. “This refreshed design is meant to convey not only the experimental, academic, and theoretical work done in these labs, but also to showcase how our product offerings come about as a result of the product development work that takes place there.”
Since 1984, Super Radiator Coils’ Virginia division has produced critical heat-transfer components for many sectors, including power generation, the military, data center cooling, and food processing. SRC has been recognized as a Top Workplace in Virginia for the past eight years and currently employs more than 600 people.
Headquartered in Mesa, Arizona, the company will mark its 100th anniversary in 2028.
