NASRC Launches CO₂ Remote Condensing Unit Showcase
New event highlights emerging small-format refrigeration solutions

RCU SHOWCASE: At NASRC’s CO₂ remote condensing unit showcase, attendees will have the chance to explore a range of equipment.
The North American Sustainable Refrigeration Council (NASRC) is set to debut a first-of-its-kind CO₂ remote condensing unit (RCU) showcase this April at the Natural Refrigerant Training Summit in Irwindale, California.
The two-day event will spotlight CO₂ RCUs — an emerging solution gaining traction in smaller-format applications such as convenience stores, restaurants, gas stations, and supplemental loads in supermarkets. As refrigerant regulations tighten, particularly in California, and legacy refrigerants become increasingly scarce and expensive, many equipment owners and operators are actively seeking practical, future-ready alternatives.
Designed with end users in mind, the free showcase will focus on accessible, high-level insights, giving business owners and decision-makers the information they need to evaluate whether this technology is right for them. They’ll also get the chance to explore a range of CO2 RCU equipment and hear directly from experts about real-world applications.
Participating manufacturers include AHT, Carrier Commercial Refrigeration, Heatcraft, Hussmann, Kysor Warren, Rivacold, SCM Frigo, Zero Zone, RefPlus, and Carel.
The showcase runs April 21 from 12–5 p.m. and April 22 from 12–4 p.m., and registration is required.
