In Memory of Orville Taecker, Dedicated PHCC Leader and Mentor
The Foundation Board of Governors and longtime PHCC member, Orville Taecker of Andor Inc. — Taecker Plumbing and Heating in Watertown, South Dakota, passed away on Monday, October 6.
Orville was passionate about PHCC and for developing the next generation of professionals in the plumbing, heating, and cooling industry. In 2006, Orville joined the Foundation's Board of Governors — the major donors of PHCC who serve as the core of our leadership team and committee experts. He continued to support PHCC's foundation with annual gifts and also led efforts to create an educational foundation and fund scholarships for the South Dakota chapter.
On the PHCC state chapter level, Orville served on various committees and on the board of directors as a zone director, treasurer, secretary, vice president, and president. He also served as a PHCC National Zone Director and on other committees.
In keeping with Orville's passion of supporting education and scholarships for those choosing the trades for their profession, his family has asked that memorial gifts be directed toward either the national PHCC Educational Foundation or the SD PHCC Education Foundation.
