Description: Navien has released its new NWP500 Series Heat Pump Water Heater, a residential water heating solution designed to deliver high energy efficiency, durability, and quiet operation. Built with a stainless steel tank and coated aluminum coils, the system is engineered for long-term corrosion resistance and reduced maintenance needs, eliminating the requirement for anode rods. The matte gray finish resists smudging and fingerprints, offering a clean, modern appearance suitable for indoor installations. Available in 50-, 65-, and 80-gallon models, the series features top and side water connections and a lighter weight design for easier handling and installation. It operates at sound levels below 45 dBA and includes a user-friendly LED control panel for temperature adjustment and system monitoring. The NWP500 supports built-in Wi-Fi through Navien’s NaviLink platform, allowing for remote access, system updates, and integration with demand response programs via an EcoPort (CTA-2045) interface. Five operation modes allow for customization to suit household needs, while an ambient operation range down to 41°F ensures year-round functionality. The unit is designed to meet high regional efficiency standards and is compatible with a forthcoming recirculation pump accessory. The NWP500 Series earned a 2025 Red Dot Design Award for its performance, design, and innovation.
