MOUNT PROSPECT, Ill. — HVAC Excellence is seeking experienced educational and HVACR instructional leaders to join its program accreditation team.

Team members play a vital role in evaluating and upholding the quality of HVACR education nationwide and have an opportunity to help evaluate programs and shape the future of the HVACR industry, a press release from HVAC Excellence said.

Programmatic accreditation is a voluntary, third-party, peer-review process that evaluates an educational program against established standards. These standards are designed to ensure the HVACR workforce receives the high-quality training necessary for success in the field.

HVAC Excellence is seeking technical review accreditation specialist candidates and administrative review accreditation specialist candidates.

Prospective technical review accreditation specialists should:

• Have a minimum of 10 years’ experience as an HVACR instructor or program chair, including experience in curriculum development and revision.

• Be a graduate of a full-time HVACR certificate, degree, or apprenticeship program.

• Hold a valid U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Section 608 Universal Certification (40 CFR Part 82, Subpart F).
