This document has been prepared and approved by members of HVAC Excellence’s accreditation review board, in conjunction with a panel of industry stakeholders.
Programmatic accreditation is an independent third party review of an educational program. The process validates that that established standards of excellence for HVACR educational programs are met. These standards are designed to assure that our future workforce receives the quality of training required to provide the skills necessary for success in the HVACR industry.
After 20 years, the group recently issued its 200,000th certification, surpassing its initial purpose while also growing and expanding into a diverse resource for HVAC professionals.
The International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET) has awarded BNP Media, parent company of The NEWS, its authorized provider accreditation. IACET Authorized Providers are the only organizations approved to offer IACET continuing education units (CEUs).
The four HEP certifications demonstrate advanced competency through work experience prerequisites, as well as rigorous written and field exams administered by participating BPI test centers.
HVAC Excellence has announced that Central Carolina Technical College has been granted accreditation of its Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration (HVACR) program.
