This zoning solution extends the capabilities of Airzone’s Easyzone product line, simplifying zoning system design and integration for the nearly 50% of U.S. Inverter/VRF applications that rely on vertical units. Easyzone for Multi-Position Air Handling Units provides a plug-and-play installation experience. The system arrives as a prewired kit, complete with a thermally insulated motorized plenum, motorized dampers, and a custom mechanical plenum neck designed to adapt seamlessly to HVAC units. Easyzone leverages Airzone’s exclusive library of manufacturer protocols to regulate zone temperature via fan speed, eliminating the need for a bypass damper. As a result, Easyzone delivers a compact, space-efficient and high-performing zoning solution. Easyzone is compatible with the top seven leading Inverter unit manufacturers in the North American market, including Samsung, Daikin, Mitsubishi, LG, Toshiba, Fujitsu, and Hitachi. The new Easyzone for Multi-Position Air Handling Units can connect to both vertical and multi-position units, ensuring personalized comfort and peak performance for any Inverter application while integrating with trusted HVAC brands. Airzone’s Easyzone and VAF products achieve energy savings of up to 30 percent and often reducing the number and size of AHUs required for a giving project. During the European A2L refrigerant transition, this efficiency was key to helping HVAC pros meet new refrigeration requirements.
