The state-of-the-art facility is an important investment in Northeast Ohio, featuring world-class technology, a press release from Famous Supply said. With more than 30,000 types of products, Famous will have additional capacity to serve contractors, builders, remodelers, and institutions in the area, as well as provide daily inventory replenishments for its local branch network.

Famous Supply of Maple Heights will offer “Famous Fast,” a same-day delivery service, in the Cleveland area, plus a fleet of approximately 30 trucks to support same- and next-day delivery to contractors and job sites throughout northern Ohio, the press release said. It will also include a 24/7 “Express Will Call” pickup counter that will be a resource for HVAC, plumbing, residential, and commercial contractors. Customers will be able to place orders via phone, online, or by using the eFamous mobile app, and orders will be ready to pick up within 30 minutes.

The new distribution center will also feature a training facility to provide contractors with access to both classroom and hands-on learning of HVAC, hydronic, and water-heating equipment. Famous will also be establishing a scholarship program for local students and residents who want to pursue a career in HVAC and hydronics, the press release said.
