Valley Air in Va. Acquires Contractor in Neighboring Town

STAUNTON, Va. — Valley Air Heating, Cooling & Plumbing has acquired Excel Heating & Cooling, a well-established HVAC company in Mount Crawford, Virginia, in the Shenandoah Valley.
The acquisition strengthens Valley Air's commitment to providing superior service and expands its capacity to serve more customers across the region, a press release from Valley Air said. Valley Air is marking its 10th anniversary this year.
As a result of the acquisition, Valley Air will increase its service area and enhance its resources with additional technicians, installers, and office staff, the press release said.
While there may be a brief period during which Valley Air and Excel vehicles are both seen in the field, the goal is to integrate the acquisition under the Valley Air Heating, Cooling & Plumbing name, the press release said.
“We purchased Excel Heating & Cooling to better serve the Valley with an expanded service area, added resources, technicians, installers, office staff, and as always, excellent customer service!” Valley Air owners Chris and Sabrina Lancaster said in the press release.
