PLYMOUTH, Minn. — Dakota Supply Group (DSG), a distributor of supplies for the HVACR, electrical, plumbing, communications and other industries recently opened a location in the Detroit suburb of Livonia, Michigan.

The September 26 grand opening was attended by, among others, Livonia Mayor Maureen Miller Brosnan, Treasurer Lynda Scheel, Livonia Chamber of Commerce vice president and COO Dawne Smith, and Greg Kenger, the owner of GMK Construction Co.

"This investment in our Livonia location reinforces our commitment to growth in Michigan, and this expansion will provide the capacity to better serve our customers and provide a foundation for our future growth into plumbing in the Michigan market," Paul Kennedy, DSG president and CEO, said in a press release. “DSG’s strength comes from within, a people-centric organization passionate about serving others. Investment in growth has been a key tenet of our rich 125-year history, and it will continue to sustain us in our bright future.”

The Livonia location now carries HVACR supplies and plans to add plumbing supplies next year, the company said.
