Travis Davis
Travis Davis is a third-generation business owner of Lawson Air Conditioning & Plumbing in Gainesville, Georgia. He started working as a teenager in the summer, helping in the warehouse, and always knew he wanted to go into the family business.
“I grew up in the industry. My grandfather started Lawson Air Conditioning & Plumbing in 1946, and I was raised in the business — from the hours my parents spent in the office while I played through the hallways bugging the managers, napping under my mother’s desk, and being used as free advertising wearing a Lawson logoed polo in every elementary school yearbook photo,” Travis said.
He has worked in the residential installation division, service division, and now serves as a commercial HVAC project estimator and manager, as well as the company’s vice president. Travis played a key role in the company achieving its first Carrier President’s Award in 2016. That is an award they have continued to achieve every year since.
“My career goals are to continue the legacy of pushing to be North Georgia’s preferred HVAC and plumbing contractor by providing the best possible service and quality in a heavily congested market space. Alongside of my wife Ashley, we intend to continue the sustained growth of Lawson Air Conditioning & Plumbing another 76 years into the future,” Travis said.
Travis is focused on continuing the legacy his grandfather, Carrier Hall of Fame inductee L.D. Lawson.
