Facts + Figures: AHRI Shipment Data for February 2022
YEAR-TO-DATE: U.S. shipments of residential gas storage water heaters decreased 3.0% and residential electric storage water heater shipments increased 6.7%. Year-to-date U.S. shipments of commercial gas storage water heaters decreased 17.2% and commercial electric storage water heater shipments decreased 38.8%. Year-to-date U.S. shipments of gas warm air furnaces decreased 8.5% and shipments of oil warm air furnaces decreased 6.8%. Year-to-date combined shipments of central air conditioners and air-source heat pumps increased 12.4%, shipments of central air conditioners increased 10.9%, and heat pump shipments increased 14.5%.
