ACCA Announces 2022 Residential Contractor of the Year
Texas-based Doctor Cool & Professor Heat named winner

ALEXANDRIA, Va. — The Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA) announced Doctor Cool & Professor Heat of League City, Texas as the ACCA 2022 Residential Contractor of the Year, sponsored by Honeywell.
Each year, ACCA’s Residential Contractor of the Year award is presented to a contracting company that demonstrated an extraordinary commitment to contractor excellence. Finalists are judged on a range of qualities including community involvement, industry involvement, and a commitment to training and certifications. A panel of ACCA past chairmen judge the finalists and select the ACCA Residential Contractor of the Year winner. The 2022 judges were: Phil London, Thermal Concepts, Inc., Davie, Florida; Tony Shaker, Enfinity Partners LLC, Mashpee, Massachusetts; Steve Lauten, Total Air & Heat Co., Plano, Texas; and Stan Johnson, retired.

James Barry, Doctor Cool & Professor Heat president, received the Residential Contractor of the Year award at the 2022 ACCA Annual Conference & Expo, March 28-30 in St. Louis, Missouri.
