Description: The Enertech Direct Expansion (DX) Air Handler (EAD) is made of 18-gauge galvanized steel and undergoes the same quality control testing as all of Enertech’s other products. This allows pairing with Enertech’s RT or BS/BT geothermal heat pumps. The Enertech DX comes in a broad range of sizes — up to 6 tons — and is multipositional for easy installation and maintenance. Featuring front-facing line set connections and condensate drain openings, the Enertech DX also has adjustable filter racks with easy access for filter changeout and a single-mount snap lock strip bracket for the ECM board and thermostat control. The 75 VA transformer comes standard and is powerful enough to run the air handler, a split system, and a forced-air zoning system. The ECM board and fan motor are the same components as found in Enertech’s other products.
