MANUFACTURERS

Global Plasma Solutions Inc. (Charlotte, North Carolina) appointed Edward Sobek as the company’s first chief science officer.

Research Products Corporation announced Mike McGowan is stepping down as CEO. Dale Philippi will succeed McGowan.

Wallner Expac Inc. (Ontario, California) has completed a transaction to become 100% employee-owned through its Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP).

Nidec Global Appliance (Duluth, Georgia) celebrates the 50th anniversary of one of its brands: Embraco.

O’Connor Company (Lenexa, Kansas) was recently named the winner of the American Standard’s (Piscataway, New Jersey) 2020 Pinnacle Award.

Greenheck Group (Schofield, Wisconsin) was named as one of Forbes’ America’s Best Midsized Employers.

Haberberger Inc. (St. Louis) hired Richard Lackey as vice president of sheet metal operations.

Johnson Controls (Milwaukee) was recognized by Ethisphere as one of the 2021 World’s Most Ethical Companies.

Motion Industries Inc. (Birmingham, Alabama) named James Howe to executive vice president – e-commerce, sales excellence, strategic pricing, and corporate accounts, and Joe Limbaugh to executive vice president – supply chain, operations support, marketing, and enterprise excellence, effective April 1, 2021.

Honeywell (Charlotte, North Carolina) has signed an agreement to acquire a majority stake in Fiplex Communications Inc. (Miami).

RIDGID (Elyria, Ohio) is celebrating a quarter of a century as a manufacturer in pipe inspection systems.

 

MANUFACTURERS’ REPRESENTATIVES

Elitech Technology Inc. (San Jose, California) has appointed HVAC RepCo (Lakeland, Tennessee) to represent Elitech’s gas leak detectors and HVACR service tools in select states.

The Whalen Company (Easton, Maryland) named a new manufacturer representative, Insight Partners (New York).

 

RESIDENTIAL CONTRACTORS

Neighborly (Waco, Texas) named Roger Chacko as its new chief strategy and marketing officer.

Horizon Group Holdings (Wilmington, Delaware) acquired Hurley & David (Springfield, Massachusetts).

 

DISTRIBUTORS

Dakota Supply Group (Plymouth, Minnesota) plans to open a new branch in Watertown, South Dakota, in April 2021.
