BROSSARD, Canada — Distech Controls announced the recent addition of Daniel Therrien and the promotion of Sabatino Castaldo to its Canadian sales team, effective immediately.

Daniel Therrien joins the team as the regional sales manager for the Eastern region of Canada based in Montreal. In this role, he will be responsible for developing sales channels across his territory as well as developing the necessary support infrastructure and resources for the region. Daniel brings more than 17 years of building automation and HVAC experience to Distech Controls. His prior experience includes various sales and operations management positions. Daniel will report to Ryan Sen, vice president Sales, International.

Sabatino Castaldo, an 11-year employee with Distech Controls, has been promoted to regional technical manager for Canada. Sabatino will be responsible for supporting sales channels and deploying necessary sales and customer support missions and tasks across Canada. Prior to this role, Sabatino globally supported and trained the systems integrator channel as a senior technical support specialist and trainer. Bringing a formidable amount of experience and knowledge of HVAC and building automation, Sabatino is an expert on Distech Controls products and services. Sabatino will report to Jim French, vice president OEM and sales support.
