CONKLIN, N.Y. — The annual ESOP (employee stock ownership plan) conference took place at Kalahari Resort, where more than 275 attendees representing over 100 employee-owned companies met for two days to collaborate on all things ESOP-related.

Meier Supply was voted ESOP Company of the Year at the conference. 

Meier Supply has a big presence in the community by involvement or donating to the following charities: Habitat for Humanity, Humane Society, Opportunities for Broome, American Cancer Society, American Heart Association, Handicapped Children’s Association, AVRE, Chamber of Commerce, Southern Tier Aids, Mom’s House, and A Room to Heal.

Meier Supply’s Dave Laliberte was selected as the ESOP Employee of the Year. Dave has been a co-owner at Meier for over 13 years and has been involved in the ESOP committee for 10 years. He has been chairman of the committee and played an instrumental part in attaining new levels of company involvement through numerous ESOP events and continuous education at the branches.
