DuraVent Awarded Quality Management System Certification
Vacaville, California, facility receives certification
DETROIT, Mich. — DuraVent earned the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System Certification for its Vacaville, California facility, which manufactures hearth and HVAC products for the residential market. This project required intense, collaborative company-wide efforts over a 20-month time period.
“Achieving this milestone is an accomplishment that the whole organization should take pride in,” said James Firth, quality assurance manager, DuraVent. “Our Board Members and Executives allowed us to invest the time required to meet these goals and our Process Owners demonstrated commitment while developing and refining their procedures. Our most important employees, those on the production floor, did a great job in developing discipline and being prepared. ISO 9001 provides a significant platform to improve our performance in regard to Quality, in this context meaning consistently meeting and exceeding customer expectations.”
