The 30-year-old Benoist Co. grew its Fresh-Aire UV products sales three-fold in its territory of California, southern and western Nevada, Arizona, and New Mexico, according to vice president, Marc Benoist. Benoist Co. developed a two-hour training seminar that included product as well homeowner sales techniques that it presented to dozens of contractors, along with the assistance of Marissa Granados, sales and training manager, Fresh-Aire UV.

The training seminars, usually held before workday hours, educate contractors on the product, the technology, and how to properly promote the systems to homeowners while focusing on the benefits of reduced maintenance and improved health. Armed with the information, several HVAC contractors raised their own Fresh-Aire UV product sales more that 300 percent last year, according to Nick Vosburgh, national sales manager, Fresh-Aire UV.
