Technical Specialist receives the Johnson Controls’ Western Service Manager Award
TIGARD, Ore. — Dan Trachsel, technical specialist, Johnstone Supply, has been presented with Johnson Controls Inc.’s Western Service Manager Award, recognizing his outstanding work and professional knowledge of the HVAC Industry.
Trachsel has long been recognized as an industry leader within the HVAC industry. His group has some of the lowest claim rates nationwide. He has also been sought-after for his ability to handle a large dealer base within his territory of 13 stores across Oregon, Washington, and California.
“Dan, received the award because of the relationship he has developed with the factory as an easy-to-do-business-with professional, with an effective, efficient and receptive manner,” said Kris Blanch, regional technical service manager at Johnson Controls.
Blanch also praised Trachsel’s technical competence and commanding grasp of Johnson Control’s products and willingness to provide training to his crew and his dealers.
Trachsel, a long-time employee of Johnstone Supply, is highly respected by his peers, collogues, and the dealers he works closely with. He is dedicated to providing all his dealers with the care and support they deserve.

He spent his first 26 years in HVAC working as a service technician, residential and light commercial salesman, and service manager in the Willamette Valley.
