MILWAUKEE — Sustained increases in commodity costs, driven by rising demand for several metals and industry consolidation in the technical tube supply base for refrigerant heat exchangers have forced Johnson Controls Inc. to increase prices on chiller equipment produced in the company’s North American manufacturing plants.
