New Johnson Controls HVAC Supply Center in Fort Smith, Arkansas

News and Notes
June 27, 2017

MILWAUKEE —  Johnson Controls celebrated the grand opening of its newest Source 1 HVAC Supply Center in Fort Smith, Arkansas, on April 11. Source 1 is the exclusive supplier of factory authorized service parts and residential accessories for all Johnson Controls Unitary Products residential and light commercial HVAC equipment. The company also offers a variety of universal HVAC parts, supplies and accessories from many manufacturers.

More than 200 people attended the Fort Smith grand opening, which included HVAC product displays, interactive demos and the opportunity to talk with vendors and representatives from Johnson Controls Unitary Products Group. The Fort Smith location is the third Source 1 HVAC Supply Center in the state of Arkansas, joining the Little Rock and Springdale locations. This location will serve as a HUB, supporting the two other Arkansas locations, as well as the Oklahoma City and Tulsa locations.

“Our location exclusively carries York equipment and is central to two nearby York factories, which brings accessibility to our products that no other supplier has. We have a direct line of communication to the factory and delivery trucks to conveniently serve our local and regional customers,” said Tim Conn, sales manager, Johnson Controls Unitary Products Group.

In addition to York, Guardian and Source 1 products, the Fort Smith supply center will offer products from other HVAC manufacturers and a wide array of HVAC test instruments, tools and supplies — everything from gauges, recovery equipment and vacuum pumps to tape, filters and pipe and electrical fittings. The supply center also will give contractors the opportunity to tap into local training programs and the technical expertise of store employees.

The address of the new Source 1 HVAC Supply Center is 5601 Old Greenwood Rd., Suite 1, Fort Smith, AR 72903. Please visit www.source1hvacsupply.com for more information.

For additional questions, please contact Ryan Nolan, public relations program manager, Johnson Controls, at Ryan.P.Nolan@jci.com, 414-524-6170, or Ginny McCreary, public relations account manager, Godfrey, at gmccreary@godfrey.com, 717-393-3831.

York products from Johnson Controls include energy-efficient, residential central air conditioners, heat pumps, furnaces and accessories, and light-commercial, packaged heating and cooling systems marketed through a national distribution network and delivered to home and building owners through qualified York heating and cooling contractors.
