The Johnstone Supply cooperative is over 400 stores strong and growing. March 1, 2017 marks the opening of its newest store.  Located in Beltsville, Maryland, this location is conveniently situated just off of RT 1 with easy access to US 95 and US 495.

The new location will be the sixth store for Johnstone Supply Balsan Group (JSBG), which has been a member of the Johnstone Supply cooperative since 1995. JSBG first opened its doors in Exton, Pennsylvania. That store moved to Downingtown, Pennsylvania in 2004. The same year they expanded, opening a second location in Annapolis, Maryland. Since then JSBG has grown to four stores in south eastern Pennsylvania and two stores in Maryland.

JSBG prides itself in promoting the Johnstone Experience, which is their initiative to offer superior customer service through custom delivery options, exclusive dealer programs, expert technical training, streamlined ordering processes, rewards and incentives, and stocking top products from quality brands. The new Beltsville location will support this initiative with daily deliveries, an expansive warehouse, a large training room, and experienced and knowledgeable staff invested in their customers’ success.


To kick it all off, the Beltsville store will feature sales, free training, giveaways, and more the entire month of March.

March 16: JSBG’s technical expert will be teaching all you need to know about ECM Motors. US Motors will be there all day to answer questions and offer the latest and greatest motor technology.

March 22: Navien is visiting for a training and counter day featuring their tankless boilers and water heaters.

March 28: It’s all about Honeywell. Have any and all technical and/or product questions answered, including the new T6 thermostats and how to become a Honeywell PRO.


Though the doors will be opening earlier, the big event isn’t until the end of April. There will be food, games, prizes, discounts, training, and more.  The entire day will be dedicated to showing Maryland HVAC contractors that JSBG is willing to go the extra mile for their customers.
