Johnstone Supply Distributors Select Epicor
AUSTIN, Texas — Epicor Software Corp. announced that the following companies have joined the growing number of Johnstone Supply distributors selecting the Epicor Eclipse wholesale distribution enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution: Johnstone Supply – AM Parts of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; Hoffman Supply Co. Inc., Johnstone Supply of Springfield, Missouri; Johnstone Supply of Columbus, Georgia; Johnstone Supply of Memphis, Tennessee; Johnstone Supply of Wichita, Kansas; and Johnstone Supply of Corona, California.
According to Epicor, Johnstone Supply has over 370 independently owned stores throughout the United States and beyond, totaling more than $1.3 billion in annual sales. Over the years, Epicor and Johnstone have worked together to create Epicor Eclipse features, functionality, and services designed exclusively for Johnstone distributors. These special features include automatic nightly updates of product, pricing, and costing data; inventory sharing and visibility at participating Johnstone locations and distribution centers; automatic updates of purchase orders with advance shipment notification; dedicated Johnstone implementation processes and training resources; and Johnstone data conversion specialists and setup.
“We recognized that the support we would gain from Epicor and the Eclipse user group would eliminate risk and add substantial value,” said Russ Stockhausen, president of Johnstone Supply – AM Parts. “Eclipse is truly built for a multi-location business in need of centralized purchasing and heavy transfers, which are critical requirements for our seven locations.”
Hoffman Supply Co. has 10 locations throughout Missouri, Kansas, and Arkansas.
