Company: Sensaphone

Product: IMS-4000

Description: This system provides low-cost, 24/7 monitoring of data center conditions across multiple locations. Each host unit supports up to eight environmental sensors to monitor critical conditions, including temperature, humidity, and power outages, which can indicate a problem with the center’s HVAC system. It simultaneously monitors the data center environment and network devices with IP addresses, such as network links, routers, printers, and servers. Additional environmental sensors include those to detect smoke, sound level, motion, water leaks, and intrusion. The system features a web-based responsive user interface with a custom dashboard that makes it easy for users to manage larger networks. Video capabilities enable many different camera brands to interface with the host to capture snapshots during alarm events. Users can expand their infrastructure by connecting up to 31 expansion nodes to the base unit. Each node can monitor eight inputs for environmental conditions or alarm contacts from other computer equipment, such as uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems. In addition, each IMS-4000 system can monitor up to 64 network devices per host or node. When the system identifies a potential problem, it immediately sends alerts through Ethernet and telephone connections.
