The LoZ mode places a low-impedance load across the input to eliminate potential ghost voltage readings. This product also features a low-pass filter that provides accurate voltage, current, and frequency readings in environments where they can be affected by switching electronics and variable frequency drives (VFDs). A useful safety tool built into the product is a non-contact voltage (NCV) detector. The detector quickly identifies the presence of voltage on live wires and alerts the user with a visual LED indicator and audible alert.
