The heat pump’s exact-fit replacement design matches footprints of other manufacturers’ units and reduces installation time, cost, and complexity by eliminating the need for a curb adapter. Available in 3- to 8.5-ton capacities, the heat pump uses Simplicity Smart Equipment (SE) Controls. This control system is a standard feature on all gas/electric, electric/electric, and heat pump packaged and commercial split-system configurations. Access to the SE control system via a smartphone, tablet, or remote PC is available with an optional MAP Gateway. The heat pump also offers optional FDD, which saves contractors time by providing detailed alerts if issues arise. Quick-ship options also help improve product availability.
