MT. PLEASANT, S.C. — C&C Myers Heating & A/C has partnered with Lennox to donate labor, equipment, and their services to Henry Perritt of Henry’s Marine, Hunting and Fishing of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina, after Perritt received a severe medical diagnosis.

C&C Myers provides heating and air conditioning services to local area homeowners and businesses. While servicing the Mt. Pleasant area, employees of the company developed a relationship with Perritt and have partnered with him on a number of residential and commercial projects.

“Henry has been a client, but foremost, a dear friend of ours at Myers for decades. Once we heard of Henry’s diagnosis, we had to take action,” said Jim Clark, owner and president of C&C Myers Heating & A/C. “Tim Myers [the service manager at C&C Myers] quickly jumped on the phone with Lennox and scheduled an inspection and a subsequent installation for the store. We cleaned out the air ducts and installed a new air conditioning and heating system as well as an air purification system.”

Perritt’s recent medical diagnosis made it difficult for him to return to work without severe discomfort. The C&C Myers’ team donated their time and labor, while Lennox donated all the necessary equipment to conduct the installation. The project took a total of 10 hours from start to finish and did not inhibit any sales or regular operations.

“I’ve heard of companies going above and beyond the call of duty for their clients, but this was just more than I could have fathomed. Previously, I would spend the whole day in discomfort, coughing constantly,” said Perritt. “But once C&C Myers found out, they worked with Lennox and handled all of the inspections and the scheduling. The only thing I had to do was show up to work after it was all said and done. They gave me my job and my livelihood back.”
