DOE Publishes a Notice of Proposed Determination Pertaining to Energy Conservation Standards for Direct Heating Equipment
The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) has published a Federal Register notice of proposed determination pertaining to direct heating equipment (DHE) (April 11, 2016) 81 FR 21276. DOE has tentatively determined that more stringent DHE standards would not be economically justified, and, thus, proposes not to amend its energy conservation standards for DHE.
