AUSTIN, Texas — HTS Texas, the Texas partner of one of the largest independent commercial HVAC manufacturers’ representatives in North America, announced it is expanding its partnership with Danfoss to supply variable frequency drives (VFDs) to now include the central Texas markets of San Antonio and Austin.

HTS said it has seen a 26 percent year over year growth in VFD sales since its initial partnership with Danfoss in 2005. The newly expanded territory will increase HTS’ sales, service, and aftermarket parts support head count for the Danfoss product by 35 percent.

“Offering high-quality, energy-efficient products is vital to providing comprehensive HVAC solutions in central Texas,” said Mike Donovan, president and owner of HTS Texas. “Expanding our partnership with Danfoss will create opportunities to grow each other’s business, and allow us to provide customers in central Texas with industry-leading products.”

Danfoss VLT HVAC drives feature advanced energy and system monitoring combined with a modular platform that makes the drive easy to operate. The drives can be installed in virtually any application; HTS Texas touts a successful portfolio of Danfoss jobs ranging from hospitals to elementary schools, commercial buildings, and more.

HTS Texas has represented Danfoss in its north and southeast Texas markets. With the addition of the Austin and San Antonio territories, HTS Texas will be able to bring a VFD solution to central Texas facilities.

“We are excited about this opportunity because the Danfoss-HTS partnership has been a winning combination in other areas and we look forward to expanding that partnership in the central/south Texas area,” said Terry Davies, Danfoss HVAC/R regional manager.
