Description: This channel on the IFTTT software application allows consumers to automatically link and manage their Honeywell Wi-Fi Smart Thermostats using IFTTT’s do-it-yourself (DIY) “Recipes.” A Recipe is a formula built around the idea that “if this” happens, “then that” occurs. It features geofencing, which triggers the thermostat when an individual enters or leaves a designated location. If the temperature outside reaches a specific temperature, the thermostat can turn on or off the HVAC system. If a user’s digital calendar shows he or she is travelling, the thermostat will lower the temperature.
