Mitsubishi Honors Distributors
More than 500 Distributors Attend Event at Disney World
SUWANEE, Ga. — Mitsubishi Electric US Cooling & Heating Division held its 2015 Distributor Conference March 9-13 in Orlando, Florida. More than 500 distributors, employees, and spouses traveled to the theme park capital of the world for the annual conference, which was held at the Walt Disney World Swan Hotel. Mitsubishi Electric honored its distributors’ hard work and dedication while also celebrating the continued success of its ductless and variable refrigerant flow (VRF) systems in the U.S. market.
Each year, Mitsubishi Electric presents several awards to recognize the success of its distributors in areas of sales, market development, and service levels. The categories include: Distributor of the Year, Business Unit Distributor of the Year, Superior Sales, and Quota Buster.
This year’s Distributor of the Year Award, which honors the distributor that has performed above all others, was awarded to Tacoma, Washington-based Gensco. In addition to 2013, Gensco also earned the award in 2009.
“Our annual distributor conference strengthens and celebrates the important relationship between Mitsubishi Electric and its distributors,” said Mark Kuntz, senior vice president, Mitsubishi Electric US Inc. Cooling & Heating Division. “These companies play an essential role in promoting our products. We’re excited to be able to celebrate successes and discuss innovative ideas and opportunities for promoting our systems within the U.S. market.”
