MALTA, N.Y. — The Building Performance Institute Inc. (BPI) is seeking nominations for its 2015 Tony Woods Award for Excellence in Advancing the Home Performance Industry. The award recognizes the individual who has most advanced the home performance industry over the past year, and who has demonstrated dedication to and activism in the home performance industry.

The award will be presented at the Affordable Comfort Inc. (ACI) National Conference in New Orleans, which is scheduled for May 4-7, 2015.

Criteria for selection for the Tony Woods Award are:

• Recognized efforts at promoting and advancing quality assurance for the home performance industry

• Development and introduction of new standards and certifications

• Expansion of Home Performance with ENERGY STAR programs

• Demonstrated success in professionalizing the home performance industry

BPI is also seeking nominees for its Building Performance Industry Hall of Fame. These are lifetime achievement nominations for individuals who have over the course of their career made significant and lasting contributions to the building performance industry.
