SARASOTA, Fla. — More than a dozen new franchise territories have recently been added to the Direct Energy^® family of brands. One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning^®, Benjamin Franklin Plumbing^®, and Mister Sparky^® electric continue to show significant growth. One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning ranked No. 1 in the HVAC services category in Entrepreneur magazine’s 2015 Franchise 500^®. Mister Sparky electric was No. 1 in the electrical services category, and Benjamin Franklin Plumbing ranked No. 2 in the plumbing category, on the magazine’s annual top franchise list, which considers factors such as financial strength and stability, growth rate, and size of the franchise system.

“We’ve had successful contractors and entrepreneurs joining our brands, and many of our existing franchise owners are expanding their businesses,” said Mark Baker, franchise president. “We’re already off to a great start in 2015, and we expect to continue growing, especially in cities where we will be new to the market.”

New franchise locations that have recently joined and new territories added by current One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning franchise owners include: Josh Bulloch and Terry Mitchell, Avon, Ohio; Chris Corio, Cherry Hill, New Jersey; and Lenny Siers, Panama City, Florida.

New locations for Benjamin Franklin Plumbing franchise owners include: Jonathan Angner, Henry Jones, and Charles Johnson, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; Rafael Apitz and Roberto Toth, Weston, Florida; Garrett Cardwell and Susan Cardwell, South Knoxville, Tennessee; Hallam Cottingham, Anderson and Spartanburg, South Carolina; and Keresa Richardson and JR Richardson, Denton and North Richland Hills, Texas.
