The Lascar EL-Enviropad-TC is a conveniently sized thermocouple-based temperature meter for spot temperature readings with additional built-in data-logging and graphing functionalities. This handheld device takes and records temperature readings via the supplied K-type thermocouple probe. Control and display occurs on a 2.8-inch color touchscreen, which indicates current temperature to a resolution of 0.1°C, maximum and minimum readings, and will produce an immediate graph of the data readings. Operation is user-selectable in Fahrenheit or Centigrade. The EL-Enviropad-TC has two key functions: data logging and spot measurement with display. When in data logging mode, the EL-Enviropad-TC can be set and left to take stand-alone temperature readings at predetermined intervals for a desired length of time. When in the spot measurement mode, the unit can be used as a thermometer to capture instant temperature readings displayed on the screen. The unit is capable of storing more than 65,000 real-time or logged time-stamped readings, which can be downloaded in CSV format to a PC via a USB connection for further analysis, report writing, etc. The USB port is also used for charging the internal battery for up to 24 hours of operation.
