SHANGHAI — More than 40,000 visitors representing 63 countries and regions flocked to the Shanghai New International Expo Centre in September looking for one-stop building efficiency solutions ranging from HVAC and lighting products to solar building and smart controls at the Shanghai edition of the Intelligent Green Building (IGB) exhibition.

The IGB exhibition platform is an initiative introduced by Messe Frankfurt to meet the market demands for energy-efficient technologies to sustain continuous economic growth, competitiveness, and environmental protection. With more than 700 exhibitors, the Shanghai edition staged four building technology-related events: Shanghai Intelligent Building Technology, Shanghai International Lighting Fair, ISH Shanghai & CIHE – Shanghai International Trade Fair for HVAC, and Building Solar China.

Exhibitors across the four events expressed satisfaction with the outcome of the exhibition platform. Faye Xiang, marketing director at Shanghai Longchuang Eco-energy Systems Co. Ltd., said: “We are a comprehensive building efficiency solutions exhibitor at the Shanghai Intelligent Building Technology fair that hopes to attract more HVAC buyers — the group that has a great need for energy-saving solutions. Visitors are more willing to attend a one-stop platform that can fulfil their multiple sourcing needs.” For more information, visit www.intelligentgreenbuilding.cn.
