Moving ISH China 2008 from Beijing to Shanghai gave exhibitors, like Danfoss, greater access to different countries and regions, according to the show’s coordinators.

SHANGHAI, China - The seventh ISH China event, moving from its usual Beijing venue, took place in Shanghai, China. Moving the location gave 223 exhibitors from 18 countries and regions exposure to a new regional market for the first time, said the company. Over 7,100 visitors attended the fair, with about 12 percent attending from overseas. The top 10 visiting countries were China, Korea, Japan, Russia, Germany, Turkey, Italy, Ukraine, the United States, and Spain.

Exhibitors displayed a wide range of items, mainly modern heating installations and equipment, air conditioning, and ventilation products with a particular focus on energy-saving and renewable energy products. Throughout the event, visitors were exposed to the latest environmental-friendly technologies at one of the many product presentations offered. Exhibitors at the ISH China 2008 were able to meet with new buyers from the Eastern region of China and abroad.

“ISH China 2008 proved to be a successful move from Beijing to Shanghai,” said Zhang Jianzhong, chief engineer for the Nanjing Architectural Design & Research Institute Co. Ltd. “Among similar and relevant exhibitions in the nation, the scale and standards of this event was exceptional.”
