TYLER, Texas — Trane announced a voluntary recall of the XB300 and American Standard Silver SI outdoor cooling units to address a potential issue with the ground screw in some of these products. There have been no instances of injury or property damage, but, in a release, Trane states that safety is its No. 1 priority.
The company coordinated the recall with the Consumer Product Safety Commission and is offering free repairs for all consumers with an impacted unit.
